Above is exact text script of an SMS that I got last year from one of my close friends. At first instance I got shocked !!!

What is this?
Something is terribly wrong with this SMS !, but what?

I can't figure out at first glance!
Let me think again !!!

Oh yes here it is! I got it,
There are no radiations coming form earth!

hmmm, so ?
There is no scientific reference to that research!

and?
that's all!

ok, then what about hadeeth?
Is it complete?
Any reference?

no!

but, there is something still missing !!!
[I took minutes and hours and days, an I am still thinking]

what is it? what is it? what is it? ....
[... and weeks and months]

Now I am getting on track, do a little research!
WHAT ? I don't have time!

You have to do this, Umar!

Clear this thing up!

You can do this!, Yes I know,

...

...

...

Since then I was trying to reach to the bottom of this SMS,
I decided to put some effort and little research.
I am going to put my work here on trial.
I will try to be precise with references.

There are two parts of SMS i.e. Hadith (حدیث) and Medical Science.
And third part on which I focused is "Do we need to spread is this kind SMS or not?"

You will find answer to these three questions in this email.

Bukhari Volume 1, Book 10, Number 573: Narrated Abu-l-Minhal:

My father and I went to Abi Barza Al-Aslami and my father said to him, "Tell us how Allah's Apostle used to offer the compulsory congregational prayers." He said, "He used to pray the Zuhr prayer, which you call the first prayer, as the sun declined at noon, the 'Asr at a time when one of US could go to his family at the farthest place in Medina while the sun was still hot. (The narrator forgot what Abu Barza had said about the Maghrib prayer), and the Prophet preferred to pray the 'Isha' late and disliked to sleep before it or talk after it. And he used to return after finishing the morning prayer at such a time when it was possible for one to recognize the person sitting by his side and he (the Prophet) used to recite 60 to 100 'Ayat' (verses) of the Qur'an in it."
Bukhari Volume 1, Book 10, Number 559: Narrated Ibn 'Umar: Allah's Apostle said, "None of you should try to pray at sunrise or sunset."

Bukhari Volume 1, Book 10, Number 560: Narrated Abu Sa'id Al-Khudri: I heard Allah's Apostle saying, "There is no prayer after the morning prayer till the sun rises, and there is no prayer after the Asr prayer till the sun sets."

Bukhari Volume 1, Book 10, Number 562: Narrated Abu Huraira:
Allah's Apostle forbade the offering of two prayers:
1. after the morning prayer till the sunrises.
2. after the 'Asr prayer till the sun sets.

Malik Book1 Hadith 1.1.7

Yahya related to me from Malik, from his uncle Abu Suhayl from his father that Umar ibn al-Khattab wrote to Abu Musa saying that he should pray dhuhr when the sun had started to decline, asr when the sun was still pure white before any yellowness had entered it maghrib when the sun had set, and to delay isha as long as he did not sleep, and to pray subh when the stars were all visible and like a haze in the sky and to read in it two long suras from the mufassal.

Muslim: Book 4 : Hadith 1811

Uqba b. 'Amir said: There were the times at which Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) forbade us to pray, or bury our dead: When the sun begins to rise till it is fully up, when the sun is at its height at midday till it passes over the meridian, and when the sun draws near to setting till it sets.

From above Ahadeth (احادیث) it is very clear that prayer at zawal is allowed, the word "zawal" literally means the time when the sun moves away from its central meridian and not time it is at its meridian as commonly mistaken. Zawal is the time when Zuhr begins and not the forbidden time.

"Istiwa" on the other hand is the time when the sun is at its highest peak at noon when it is impermissible to perform prayer. People mistakenly refer to this as the time of zawal.

Hence, the time for istiwa' or the period in which the sun is at its zenith / meridian and prayer is forbidden is in reality a very momentary period and cannot be counted in minutes or pinpointed accurately by everyone. Hence, the jurists, out of caution, include a few minutes from either side of it to be the forbidden time for prayer. Therefore, prayer must be avoided for approximately 5-10 minutes before noon and 5-10 minutes after noon, noon being the half way point between sunrise and sunset. And time of zawal starts approximately after 25-20 minutes.

As far as science is concern the only radiations coming out of Earth are electromagnetic in nature, Theses are strongest on poles and not dealt with position of sun.

On the other hand we can think about the effects of solar radiation on the Earth system.

At Earth's distance from the Sun, about 1,368 watts of energy in the form of EM radiation from the Sun fall on an area of one square meter (If Earth were a flat, one-sided disk facing the Sun). The surface of a sphere has an area four times as great as the area of a disk of the same radius. So the 1,368 W/m2 is reduced to an average of 342 W/m2 over the entire surface of our spherical planet Earth.

When the Sun is directly overhead, its light (and energy) is concentrated upon the smallest possible surface area of the ground that it can strike (and be absorbed by). But the radiation at top of the atmosphere varies by 3.5% over the year, as the Earth spins around the Sun. This is because the Earth's orbit is not circular but elliptical, with the Sun located in one of the foci of the ellipse. At any given moment, the amount of solar radiation received at a location on the Earth's surface depends on the state of the atmosphere and the location's latitude.

The atmosphere is almost transparent to sunlight, all that is absorbed at the surface results in warming and the emission of IR radiation, this radiation cannot freely escape into space because of absorption in the atmosphere by trace gases. These absorbing gases and their surrounding air warm up, emitting radiation downward, towards the Earth's surface, as well as upward, towards space, The effect is analogous to that of a blanket that traps the body heat preventing it from escaping.

But there is no scientific evidence or proof is available for brain ham-bridge caused by that reflection of solar radiation by earth, at the time when sun is at its meridian.

Do we need to spread out these type of SMS or emails, just spreading uncertainty about religion!
